People's Artist. GSDD KazNUA - Bui Cong Duy - Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music shared that the concert named " chopin - Rimsky - Korsakov" is one of the special events of the 2025 - 2026 performance season.
The program will also introduce to the audience the capital two promising young piano talents of Vietnam, Nguyen Duc Kien and Luu Danh Khoi. This is also one of the goals set by Hanoi Symphony - Vietnam National Academy of Music in the current period to train, foster and maximize promising young human resources to integrate regionally and internationally.
The Hanoi Symphony orchestra under the direction of conductor Nayden Todorov - Music Director of the Bulgarian National Opera House - will perform in a special concert with classic works.
In the first part of the program, the audience of the capital will be immersed in the profound, sophisticated and emotional musical world of Frederic Chopin through two concerts for piano Concerto No. 1 Cung Mi, Op.11 and Concerto No. 2 Cung Fa, Op.21. Written when Chopin was only in his twenties, both works are the most complete expression of his romantic musical language: Aesthetic, passionate and full of lyrical content.
The two young piano artists - Nguyen Duc Kien and Luu Danh Khoi - will take on the role of soloists in two concerts to bring fresh and powerful performances.
In the second part of the program, the audience will enjoy one of the most brilliant masterpieces of Russian nationalism: "Capriccio Spanishnol, Op.34" by Nikolai Rimsky - Korsakov.
The work is a combination of rich symphony colors and inspiration from Spanish folk music, and is also an opportunity for the orchestra to practice their techniques through each musical program with a strong performance and festive spirit.
