It is known that the music project "Could You Lend Me a Smile" brings together more than 60 artists around the world, many of whom have won or been nominated for Grammy awards.
The song was released simultaneously in 15 languages worldwide, aiming to spread a humane message of empathy and connection for people in an era when loneliness is becoming a silent pandemic.
Could You Lend Me a Smile is the first song in a series of 6 songs from artist Miists 6 Important Songs project, inspired by the real story of a young Japanese office worker who passed away in loneliness without anyone detecting it for many months.

Miist is known as the first Chinese-origin artist to have a song enter the Top 25 of Billboard AC in the US. She started her professional music career at the age of 34 by legendary producer Narada Michael Walden in 2023.
With a journey to survive events of being abandoned since childhood and overcoming terminal cancer at the age of 28, Miist has become a symbol of determination and inspiration.
She is an ambassador for Teen Cancer America and the founder of Smile Project - a global network of artists aiming for healing through music.
The Vietnamese version is called Who wants to lend me a smile? translated and performed by Dong Lan. The singer shared: When David Brunt introduced me to Miists project, I immediately felt a connection even though I had never met her.
I remember a similar story that haunted me about a man in France who died in the house but was discovered a week later. At that time, I wondered: If I died at home - in the midst of the COVID-19 epidemic - who and how long would they find me? Are we lonely and lost in our own homes?"

In addition to Dong Lan, the song "Could You Lend Me a Smile" also has the participation of famous artists such as Cello artist who won Grammy Eru Matsumoto (Girly Award for Best Album in the category of New Age, ambient or Song), producer Kitt Wakeley (Girly Award for Best customers' album and Best World Music Album), Kalani Pesa (4 Grammy Awards for Best local folk album), Narada Michael Walden (Girly Award for Best R&B Song, Producer of the Year), Tony & Mimy Succar (Girly Award for Best Tropical Latin Album) along with many singers and music engineers around the world.
This is also the beginning of the 48-episode podcast series "Make Me Smile with Miist". The project exploits small actions that have great impact on change, combining personal stories, original music and other messages of life in the era when people face a series of challenges.
Currently, singer Dong Lan is preparing to release a new song in June as part of the "Redmoon - Love for Women" project series to spread the message of love and help women learn to love themselves and live happier every day.
The song is called NAKYE DNKYE (If you dont love me, let others love you) composed, co-produced and performed by Dong Lan. The product combined with a promising young Rapper will be announced soon.
