The Global Vietnamese Singing Language is a contest to search for good voices for Vietnamese people around the world, held for the first time in 2023 with the goal of finding musical talent, while honoring values imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity, preserving and conserving Vietnamese identity, connecting love, and turning to the root.
The contest is open to all subjects who are Vietnamese citizens from 16 to 60 years old, not limited to professionals or amateurists, anyone with singing talent and passion for singing can participate.
According to the representative of the organizing committee, the new point of the 2025 " Global Vietnamese Singing Voice" contest is not exploiting contestants from Europe like the previous 2 seasons but focusing entirely on Vietnam. Accordingly, the award-winning contestants have the opportunity to compete in practice through European tours, performing for overseas overseas Vietnamese to promote their abilities.
Mr. Henry Nguyen - Head of the Organizing Committee said: "Focusing on organizing in Vietnam this year is a strategic step to develop the contest in depth, creating a stronger spread domestically, while also providing a foundation for expanding the scale to the global market in the next season.
In fact, although this year's contestants are mainly from Vietnam, the global spirit is still maintained, from the participation of the judges and the overseas Vietnamese community. The whole world is not only in geography, but also in connecting thinking.
To maintain the core values of the contest, it is the spirit of exchange, learning and honoring Vietnamese identity in the context of focusing only on Vietnam in the third season.
Master of music, artist and teacher Vu Dieu Thao - member of the Jury said, "I think I am a difficult judge. I hope that the contestants will bring their performance not only as contestants but also as performing artists with high technique and importantly, touching the hearts of the audience. I hope that with my expertise, experience, and enthusiasm, I can inspire the contestants and accompany the judges to find worthy contestants.
It is known that the "2025 Global Vietnamese Singing Contest" organized by Unicorn Global Communications and Entertainment Co., Ltd. and 5G Multimedia Technology and Communications Co., Ltd. (5G NetWork) will go through 4 rounds: Preliminary, Semi-final, Final and Final. 40 selected candidates will participate in the Final round, taking place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The Final night with the 20 best singers will compete on October 18 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace (Hanoi).
The judges will award 1 Champion and 2 Runner-up prizes for each category: Love (antrical music, Bolero...), folk - Red Music, Light Music (Pop, Rock, R&B...). In addition, the contest also has other awards such as: Most Favorite Contestant Award, Promising Contestant Award, Voting Jury Award, Impressive Performance Contestant Award, National Identification Honoring Award...
