Accordingly, the concert program "Vietnam - Korea 2025" will be held to celebrate the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC 2025) Summit in Gyeongju, South Korea (APEC 2025 Korea).
The program also marked the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Korea with the participation of world-famous soprano artist - Sumi Jo, taking place on October 14 at Ho Guom Theater, Hanoi.
The program was co-chaired by the Korean Embassy in Vietnam in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam.

Sumi Jo is known as a female artist who has just been awarded the French Commandeur Medal for Literature and Arts, the most prestigious award in the French art field. She will perform a variety of performances, from Opera to classic art songs and musicals, promising to bring the audience a stage of international class.
The concert night also featured other artists from Korea and Vietnam including: Tenor Jang Joohoon, artist Piano Park Sang-wook, Tenor Nguyen Truong Linh, Violin artist Phan Dang Quan and artist Piano Nguyen Cong Minh.
The combination of talented young artists between Vietnam and Korea brought a rich and meaningful performance program, demonstrating the spirit of friendly artistic exchange between the two countries.
The Korean Embassy also hopes to send words of encouragement and sharing to Vietnamese people who have been affected by recent storms, floods and continuous heavy rains.
In particular, the Korean government has decided to provide diverse relief sources including a $1 million humanitarian aid to support response and recovery activities caused by storms and floods this time.
