This is the “Happinness Concert” series that is scheduled to be held annually to celebrate the New Year and this year is the first edition.
People's Artist Bui Cong Duy - Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music said that the concert "Happinness Concert" will have the participation of 120 Vietnamese artists from the VNAMYO Youth Symphony Orchestra - Vietnam National Academy of Music under the command of conductor Tran Nhat Minh with world-famous soloists and singers such as: soprano soloist of the Belarusian Opera House - Claudia Potemkina, Italian tenor - Manuel Amati and Vietnam's leading opera singer - Dao To Loan.
The music night promises to bring the audience to emotions through 20 classic songs from historical films of the world, famous arias from plays, musicals or "Christmas Carols" full of joyful Christmas, or welcoming a new year.
And joining in the brilliant Christmas atmosphere before the New Year, will be the joyful and bustling “Christmas Carols”. “O Holy Night” is also one of the famous Christmas hymns, composed by French musician - Adolphe Adam in 1847.
Besides, “Silent Night” (Stille Nacht) is one of the most famous and loved Christmas carols in the world.
In particular, the concert also featured the music from the documentary “Vietnam” written by Gara Garayev - one of the most prominent representatives of Azerbaijan, who was a composition student of D. Shostakovich. Garayev wrote music for dozens of works.
