The MV "Girl of Hanoi" is set in the 70s of the last century, when the country was still immersed in war, Hanoi was once engulfed in the smoke of B52 air raids, but the people of the capital as well as millions of Vietnamese people were still strong, resilient in fighting back the invaders and gaining independence.
The song, based on the poem by Ngoc Khue and music by Doan Nguyen Hieu, is like the "voice of the heart" of Bui Huyen Trang, wishing to praise the beauty of Hanoi through the people and landscapes of the sacred land, which created the heroic spirit of Hanoi during the war years.

Young director Kai Nguyen Hai and cameraman Le Quang have created a gentle, simple story, but it is enough to sketch out for the audience the beauty of the people of Hanoi, full of spirit, beautiful and proud.
Bui Huyen Trang's voice is like a brush painting a picture of Hanoi that is both heroic and strong, clear and imbued with love.
Bui Huyen Trang, born in 2003, was a "phenomenon" of the "Sao Mai 2022" season when she was just 19 years old. Possessing a clear, lyrical soprano voice with a simple and soaring singing style, she caused a surprise in the final night of the Northern region.

After stopping at the “Sao Mai 2022” contest, Bui Huyen Trang continued to study at the Vietnam National Academy of Music and pursued her dream of becoming a singer. With the direct teaching, guidance, advice and professional orientation of her teacher – Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, Bui Huyen Trang registered for the “National Chamber Singing - Musical - Choir 2023” contest and excellently won the runner-up prize when she was just 20 years old.
“I am happy to be taught directly by Ms. Lan Anh. She has instructed and guided me very enthusiastically and meticulously from the time I was in secondary school to university. She is both strict and affectionate, and very attentive to me as well as other students” – Bui Huyen Trang shared.
Not stopping there, with the spirit of "continuing to win", in 2024, Bui Huyen Trang registered for two competitions "Hanoi's Voice" (became Champion) and "Hanoi's Voice" (reached the finals but due to health reasons, she decided to stop).
Born and raised in the rice fields of Thai Binh - the cradle of Cheo singing, but Bui Huyen Trang chose classical chamber music to pursue. No one in her family is an artist, but perhaps the spirit of the "cradle" of art has seeped into Bui Huyen Trang's blood and given her a natural, clear, sweet voice.
With a beautiful voice and serious learning, Bui Huyen Trang promises to go far in her singing career. The MV “Co gai Ha Noi” is also the “greeting” of the young singer from Thai Binh to the audience as well as gradually affirming her “name” in the chamber music genre.
