To proactively respond to the risk of heavy rain causing flooding, flash floods, and landslides, the leaders of the Ministry requested the heads of public security of units and localities to carry out a number of key tasks, including:
Grasp the weather situation to deploy plans and strategies to ensure security, order and appropriate response in the locality, especially ensuring the safety of people, vehicles and property at sea and along the coast.
Organize dissemination and guidance on disaster response skills to minimize damage; widely and promptly disseminate information on rescue, relief, prevention, control, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and spreading the beautiful image of the People's Public Security force; strictly handle individuals and organizations that report inaccurate information, affecting the work of preventing and fighting natural disasters.
Organize inspections, urge and implement comprehensive and effective response measures, do not be passive or surprised; Absolutely do not let interruptions in leadership and direction of natural disaster response when consolidating and perfecting the organizational apparatus of units and localities when not organizing the District Police and preparing for the arrangement of new provincial administrative boundaries after merging, consolidating, and organizing local government at 2 levels from July 1 (after the District level ends its operation).
Implement the "4 on-site" motto well, be ready for all plans for natural disaster prevention and control, essential necessities, equipment, and specialized means to serve the work of natural disaster prevention, control, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and search and rescue. Ensure safety of life and health for forces directly on duty and safety of forces, headquarters, detention facilities, documents, and working equipment of the People's Public Security force.
The functional units of the Ministry are ready with forces, means, materials, medicine, medicine, and funding to promptly provide support to localities if necessary; have plans to ensure communication to serve the command and operation in responding to natural disasters, organizing search and rescue, implementing plans to ensure environmental sanitation, epidemics, preventing and controlling epidemics and injuries during and after natural disasters.
Organize a serious and timely on-duty team to inform and convey the orders of the Ministry's leaders to the Public Security of units and localities, especially at the commune level; ensure that the number of troops is ready to deploy tasks to ensure security, order and prevent and combat natural disasters. Strictly implement the information and reporting regime to the Ministry according to regulations.
