Quang Binh Police set up 10 traffic patrol teams

Quang Binh - Special patrol force with 60 officers and soldiers controls and strictly handles violations, ensuring traffic safety.

On March 15, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Binh Provincial Police said that the unit had established 10 special patrol teams to maintain traffic order and safety in the area.

This is a solution to implement the policy of streamlining the apparatus, dissolving the district-level police, while ensuring uninterrupted patrolling and control work. The working groups were established under the direction of the Provincial Police Department, including the coordination of 60 officers and soldiers from the Traffic Police Department, Mobile Police Department and Police of communes and wards.

The special patrol force is fully equipped with means and professional technical equipment to control and handle violations. According to the plan, the police will strictly handle violations with 6 main groups of topics.

Key violations include: violating alcohol concentration, using drugs; extending the vehicle's body, carrying goods that are overloaded or oversized, transporting goods that are not tied in accordance with regulations; speeding, not obeying traffic lights, driving in the wrong lane, going in the wrong direction...

The Traffic Police Department of Quang Binh Police informed that working groups need to proactively grasp the situation, identify key routes, black spots for traffic accidents, as well as the time and operating rules of violations to arrange effective control forces.

Along with maintaining traffic order, Quang Binh Provincial Police also publicly announced the addresses for receiving and handling administrative procedures for new tasks assigned from March 1.

Specifically, procedures for granting and exchanging road motor vehicle driving licenses are carried out at 9 locations across the province, including the Provincial Public Administration Service Center and the Police of towns, communes, and central wards of districts. The Provincial Police affirmed that the restructuring of the apparatus will not interrupt tasks, while improving the quality of service for people and businesses.
