Sharing about the reason for switching to electric vehicles, specifically BYD, Mr. Huynh Minh Thien said that after a chance experience at an event at Global City, he decided to find a new challenge for himself.
But initial experience is just one of many factors. The most important thing for me to decide to switch to electric cars is my belief in the car I want to sell, said Mr. Thien.
According to Mr. Thien, compared to the current time of entering the Vietnamese market, in terms of brand recognition, customer trust and the ability to switch to electric vehicles, all have had very clear changes compared to 3-5 years ago.
For the Southwestern market, BYD General Director Tien Giang said that electric vehicle sales are currently in the formation stage, not reaching expectations. However, if we compare the sales between last month and this month, the growth arrow is always going up in a vertical direction.
According to Mr. Thien, that means the total number of cars is not large, but the growth rate in a certain period of time far exceeded some of the companies he had worked with.
As General Director of BYD NEG Tien Giang, Mr. Huynh Minh Thien has a specific strategy to develop the brand in the Western market.
He emphasized that BYD Tien Giang is not only a place to sell cars, but also a place to give experiences. According to Mr. Thien, if the service is good and the experience is truly outstanding, it will be the key for customers to stick with the brand. That is also the most natural way to help BYD Tien Giang spread to customers.
Above all, Mr. Thien also emphasized that BYD Tien Giang is not only a place to sell cars but also a touchpoint for customers to experience a new travel model: smarter, more friendly and more sustainable, contributing to Vietnam's green transformation goal.
