Kim Long Motor hands over 650 buses to Phuong Trang for exploitation in Ho Chi Minh City

Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company has just handed over 650 buses to Phuong Trang Passenger Bus Joint Stock Company - FUTA Bus Lines, including 450 electric vehicles and 200 diesel vehicles.

The new fleet of buses will be put into operation on 35 subsidized bus routes in Ho Chi Minh City in early August 2025, part of a package of 557 vehicles that FUTA Bus Lines has just won.

The highlight of this handover is the small electric bus line B30-EV and medium-sized B60-EV. These are modern cars with compact, aesthetic designs, pioneered by Kim Long Motor to design and produce specifically for urban traffic in Vietnam.

The models use low floor, large-capacity air conditioners, surveillance cameras, electronic boards displaying route information, comfortable seats and apply energy-saving, noise-reducing, and environmental protection technology.

To date, a total of 699 electric buses produced by Kim Long Motor have been handed over to Phuong Trang for operation to serve public passengers in Ho Chi Minh City.

From the end of 2023 to now, Phuong Trang has won the bid for a total of 69 subsidized bus routes in Ho Chi Minh City.
