On the afternoon of November 15, National Archives Center I coordinated with the National Academy of Public Administration to organize a seminar with the theme "Memory Box 4.0" attracting a large number of lecturers, students, and researchers to attend.
The discussion with the theme "Memory Box 4.0" was organized to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), and at the same time, to connect young people more closely with archival documents and personal memories in the flow of history.
As the name suggests, the discussion is an opportunity for each individual to share and discuss their own "box" as a metaphor for preserving memories of history, culture and people.
Through that, the public gradually approaches the connection between collective memory, context, and images of Vietnamese people through historical periods, thereby connecting and sharing between the past, present, and future.

Ms. Tran Thi Mai Huong - Director of National Archives Center I - shared her hope that the event would be an opportunity for speakers, guests, especially the younger generation, to bring positive and meaningful memories passed down through many generations to the community.
In addition, the seminar also opens up opportunities to find solutions to orient human resource training in archiving to suit the future digital age.
The event was attended by many guests in the fields of archives, education, heritage management, and communications, including historian Duong Trung Quoc.
Sharing at the seminar, Mr. Duong Trung Quoc and the speakers spread positive stories and memories through books and photos to the community. From there, contributing to raising awareness among young people about preserving and promoting the value of archival documents in general and personal memories in particular.
Personal memory includes not only specific events but also impressions, feelings, and knowledge that people acquire over time. In the booming digital age, personal memory plays an important role in continuing history, becoming an important factor in the process of preserving and promoting good values.

The discussion took place with close conversations, creating generational connections for each individual to share and discuss preserving memories of history, culture and people.
