The return airfare from the two airports in Bangkok to Noi Bai airport on January 6 is around 2.5 - 4.3 million VND. However, there are still quite a few empty seats on the plane for passengers to choose from.
Round-trip tickets for this route of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet increased to more than 11 million VND per pair. Round-trip tickets of Thai AirAsia, Cathay Pacific, and Thai Airways are also high at around 7 - 8 million VND.

The price of a direct flight from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to Don Mueang International Airport on January 3 is the lowest at VND3.2 million/way, the highest at VND4 million/way, but there are not many flights and empty seats left. If you travel on January 4-5, the price ranges from VND1.75 - 4 million, depending on the flight time and airline.
Return airfare from Bangkok to Tan Son Nhat International Airport on January 6 ranges from 1.7 to 3.8 million VND.
Thus, tourists and football fans may have to spend tens of millions of dong on airfare alone to go to Thailand to watch the second leg of the 2024 ASEAN Cup final.

In order to serve the number of passengers traveling to Thailand to watch the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 final, on January 3, 5 and 6, Vietnam Airlines will switch to operating wide-body Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 aircraft instead of narrow-body Airbus A321 aircraft, to transport the team, passengers and fans between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok.
The airline plans to operate wide-body Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 aircraft on flights VN610 and VN611 between Hanoi and Bangkok on January 3, 5 and 6; and flights VN600 and VN601 between Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok on January 5 and 6.
Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates 3 daily flights between Hanoi - Bangkok and 4 flights between Ho Chi Minh City - Bangkok.
The airline announced that it will continue to monitor fans' travel needs to flexibly increase flights or switch to wide-body aircraft to support the Vietnamese football team.
