The average room occupancy rate at tourist accommodation establishments during the September 2 holiday reached 56%, an increase of 1.85% compared to the 2023 holiday. Particularly on September 1 and 2, 2024, room occupancy rate reached over 60%.
During the holiday, the number of international tourists to key tourist destinations increased, mainly from the markets of Korea, China, Taiwan (China), India, Europe, and the US with a stay of about 4-5 nights.
To meet the needs of tourists, many localities have coordinated with local tourism businesses to proactively innovate and build diverse and attractive tourism products, organize cultural events, festivals, promotional programs... to attract tourists, increase spending and length of stay of tourists.

During the holiday, the total number of flights provided is estimated at more than 4,250, an average of 840 flights/day, an increase of 3.5% over the same period in 2023. The Railway industry served about 130,000 train passengers, an increase of about 10% over the same period in 2023.
On the peak day (August 30), there were 10 trains on the North-South route: 5 Hanoi-Saigon trips, 1 Hanoi-Da Nang trip, 2 Hanoi-Dong Hoi trips, 2 Hanoi-Vinh trips.
