On the morning of March 7, a female diner reported on the meal on March 6 at a seafood restaurant in Dich Vong Hau ward, Cau Giay district. Accordingly, her group of customers ordered many dishes such as snails, blood cockles, caught fish, crab egg seaweed salad... The total bill was nearly 5 million VND.
In which this female customer added, "eating fish with salted dipping sauce is not suitable for me, please add 3 bowls of fish sauce and pay 65,000 VND/bowl as shown in the photo. When asked, the staff said this was fish sauce, so they lost money."

The post attracted a lot of attention and was shared on forums and culinary review groups with hundreds of thousands of members. Like female diners, many people expressed concerns about the price of a bowl of fish sauce for onions being too high (65,000 VND/bowl).
The restaurant manager confirmed that there was a group of guests coming to eat at noon on March 6 with the payment invoices as shown in the photo. "The prices of the restaurant's dishes are listed on the menu and the cost of eating at the restaurant ranges from 250,000 - 1 million VND/person," said the restaurant representative.

According to this person, the restaurant also prepared the fish sauce according to the special vinegar-soaked onion recipe of the chef, using the most expensive Ly Son purple onion.
"Real customers cannot compare onions often bought in the market, sold at shops along the road with luxury restaurants with rental prices of up to 150 million VND/month. Before serving, the service staff will give the price to the customer so that they can understand. If customers give comments and pay at all times, it will make it easier for the restaurant to handle".
In addition, the restaurant manager also said that the group of guests initially ordered food for 8 people but only 6 people came to eat. According to the assessment, 6 people who ordered a lot of food with a bill of more than 4.8 million is completely normal for a seafood meal.
