Before the full moon day of January, a lot of people rushed to Kiep Bac temple (Hung Dao commune, Chi Linh city) to make a ceremony and offer incense to pray for peace and luck.


Ms. Thanh Huyen (Bac Giang) shared that for the past 5 years, her family has regularly visited Kiep Bac Temple to pray for peace and happiness every early spring.
"Kiep Bac temple before famous is sacred. Every year there are big holidays held at the temple, people poured here very crowded," she said.


Mr. Dinh Duc (Chi Linh City, Hai Duong) said that big festivals, spirit medium ceremonies, and saint ceremonies are held at the temple at the beginning of the year, especially close to the full moon days of the lunar calendar.
"My family really enjoys long-standing traditional festivals. This is also an opportunity for my children to learn more about history and national heroes, as a way of learning not just through books," he shared.


Early spring is also an opportunity for locals and tourists to visit tourist attractions and historical sites in the Con Son - Kiep Bac historical relic complex. In addition to worshiping, locals and tourists can visit the exhibition space, the stone stele inscribed with merits, the Dragon Eye well...
Inside the main hall are 3 buildings: Front Hall, Middle Hall, and Back Hall. The Front Hall worships the Council of Hundred Officials; the Middle Hall worships the Four Princes, the 4 sons of Saint Tran, including: Hung Vu Vuong, Hung Hien Vuong, Hung Nhuong Vuong, Hung Tri Vuong, and the altar of the Guard of the Front General Pham Ngu Lao. On the left and right sides, there are worships of Nam Tao and Bac Dau.


From 11 to 20.2.2025, the Spring Festival of Con Son - Kiep Bac will take place, the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho visiting Con Son and there are many festivals, maids, servants ... Throughout the full moon days of the first year, the first day of the lunar month.
Visitors to the relic site need to buy an entrance ticket of 20,000 VND/person and tickets for accompanying means of transport.
Kiep Bac Temple, also known as Kiep Temple, Van Kiep Temple, belongs to the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic complex, where the national hero Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan is worshiped, located in Hung Dao commune, Chi Linh city, Hai Duong province. This place is also recognized as a special national relic site preserving many artifacts, antiques, and historical architectural works from the 13th and 14th centuries.
According to the stele at the relic site, Kiep Bac Temple was built in 1300 after Hung Dao Dai Vuong passed away at Van Kiep Palace. The temple is a historical structure of great value associated with the life and military career of Hung Dao Vuong.
