With less than a month to go until Christmas 2024, many cafes in Hanoi have decorated Christmas trees, crystal lights, gift boxes, etc. with bright colors to attract customers, meeting the needs of checking in and taking "virtual life" photos.
One of the most popular check-in spots, especially on weekends, is Alley 4B Dang Van Ngu. The short alley has about 4-5 coffee shops next to each other, also known as the coffee and shopping complex Block D6 at the foot of the D6 Trung Tu apartment building.
Each shop only has enough space for about 10 people, but the outside space is decorated with an eye-catching Christmas theme. Many people compare this to a Korean-style neighborhood. During peak times, many people have to stand and wait for their turn to take photos.
“This is my first time coming to this neighborhood. This check-in spot is quite famous on social networking sites with young people who love taking pictures. The space here is decorated very eye-catching and suitable for young people's taste,” Mai Ngoc (born in 2002, Cau Giay district, Hanoi) shared when coming here with her friends.
Nguyen Thi Quynh (born in 2004, Bac Ninh) had previously checked in at several coffee shops in Bac Ninh, but still visited other locations to take Christmas photos in Hanoi.
“Many people come to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere. I really like Christmas. When I come here, I can check in and take beautiful photos while enjoying the bustling atmosphere.
Maybe the light here is a bit low at night so the photo quality is not very good. If I have the chance, I will come back in the morning to take a better quality photo set," Quynh said.
The menu at the cafes in this neighborhood ranges from 50,000 - 65,000 VND/cup. Many young people do not hesitate to spend more money to experience, enjoy drinks at different shops and check in more beautiful "virtual living" angles. There are groups of friends who can sit for about 3 - 4 hours until they have a satisfactory photo set before leaving.
Visitors to this small alley need to park their vehicles in the parking lot near alley 4B Dang Van Ngu for convenience in moving around the complex. There are many coffee shops, clothing stores...
In addition to the Christmas check-in point at Dang Van Ngu Street, visitors can refer to other locations in Hanoi such as: Hanoi Cathedral, Hang Ma Street, the "Starry Sky Art Museum" light exhibition at Vincom Royal City, Lotte Mall Tay Ho, or cafes along Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
