In November 2024, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee signed a decision approving the investment policy of the Nha Trang Mixed Urban Area project in Vinh Thai commune and Phuoc Long ward, Nha Trang city.
This is a project in which a domestic corporation previously submitted a written request to implement the investment project and sent accompanying documents in July and September 2024.
This project has an investment capital of 17,330 billion VND, of which the project implementation cost is more than 16,200 billion VND. The remaining 1,000 billion VND is for compensation and resettlement support.
The project has a scale of 226 hectares with a population of 20,000 people. Of which, the project has 4,200 commercial houses and 1,500 social houses. The land fund for social housing is 5.9 hectares. The form of investor selection is bidding.
This project will invest in the construction of a complete and synchronous mixed-use urban area, including technical infrastructure; commercial housing; service works, resort tourism, and tourist accommodation facilities in the form of rental, lease-purchase or sale.
The project also invests in public works and services for residential units and urban areas such as schools, shopping centers, cultural houses, museums, etc.
The project implementation progress is expected to be 6 years, from the fourth quarter of 2024 to the fourth quarter of 2030 with a project operation period of 50 years.

Also in November, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council passed a Resolution on the list of land plots for bidding for investment projects using land. These are the land plots that the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also passed a list of land acquisition for socio-economic development for the national and public interests in the area.
Among the above-mentioned lands, Nha Trang City will reclaim the Nha Trang City Mixed Urban Area project (229 hectares in Vinh Thai commune and Phuoc Long ward).
