The Immigration Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police has just received and quickly handled the case of Mr. Jeon Minsuk, a Korean national, who lost his passport while traveling and staying in the locality.
Immediately after receiving the information, the staff of the Immigration Department urgently checked, verified and instructed tourists to complete the necessary procedures to be granted a new visa in accordance with the provisions of Vietnamese law.
Moved by the timely support, Mr. Jeon Minsuk wrote a letter of thanks to all officers and soldiers of the Immigration Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police.
This is not only a valuable recognition from an international tourist but also a vivid testament to the effectiveness of people's foreign affairs work, contributing to building a beautiful image of the country, people and the Vietnamese police force in the eyes of international friends.
Previously, in early August, Khanh Hoa Police returned the property to a Korean tourist who dropped it in Nha Trang. The wallet was picked up by a Hanoian tourist on Tran Phu Street and handed over to the police. Inside were more than 5 million VND, 100 USD, driver's license, bank card, temporary residence card of Korean tourist named Shin Inho.
