After the end of the tour, visitors were awarded a certificate by the National Park for the completion of the nature conservation experience program in Con Dao in 2025.

According to the National Park, tours to see turtles laying eggs and releasing baby turtles into the sea have been exploited and welcomed to visitors for many years, but most of them have been completed in just 1-2 days.

Since 1994, the National Park has coordinated with the International Union for Conservation of Nature in Vietnam (IUCN VN) to implement a volunteer program to conserve sea turtles, with 7-10 visits per year for 10-12 days.

Realizing the need to directly participate in the conservation of nature and sea turtles, and experience life in remote islands, the National Park has launched a long-term nature conservation experience tour, with a specific time set for the small islands where mother turtles often lay eggs, including: Hon Bay Canh, Bai Duong, Hon Tai and Hon Cau.

This summer, there will be 10 experiential tours (4-10 visitors/tour), starting from the beginning of June to September with 3 itineraries: 5 days (11.7 million VND/person); 7 days (15.7 million VND/person) and 10 days (20.2 million VND/person).

Domestic and foreign tourists aged 6 - 45 (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult), in good health, and those who know how to swim can register to participate.

Although there is still more than a month until the first tour starts, many tourists are interested in the program. To date, VQG has recorded more than 20 registrants and will base on the sea weather forecast to notify customers to prepare 1 week in advance. If the weather is not favorable, visitors can switch to another tour; or participate in appropriate activities; or refund fees.

According to statistics from the National Park, each year more than 2,000 mother turtles come to small islands in Con Dao to lay eggs. Every year, the unit conducts a breeding program, moves eggs to the hatchery and releases more than 150,000 baby turtles into the sea each year.

From the beginning of 2025 to now, the National Target has relocated 83 turtle egg nests with a quantity of 7,340 eggs, releasing 4,255 baby turtle into the sea to control. At the same time, since mid-April 2025, mother turtles have begun to lay eggs quite regularly, about 1-2 eggs/night, mainly at Hon Bay Canh.
