Hanoi - At the death anniversary of Hung Vuong 2025, many people flocked to the old town, gathering in Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square to check in at Ham Thang Tam building.

According to Lao Dong, on April 6 - the second day of the Ancestor's Commemoration Day holiday, many people and tourists were playing in the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street and the old quarter. In particular, a large number of visitors gathered at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and the surrounding area to take photos with the Shark Seafood Market building.

Many people came here because social networks were buzzing about the news that this building would be demolished from tomorrow, April 7.

Le Quynh (24 years old, Cau Giay district, Hanoi) and her friends came to check in at Ham Thang Sharm in the morning. She said: "I read that the city will install barriers to demolish the Shark Marrow. Taking advantage of the holiday, my friends and I went to the street to take souvenir photos and eat at a familiar restaurant here."

Hoang Duc (Hoang Mai District, Hanoi) said that Shark Ham is always one of the places he recommends to friends from far away to visit, or foreign visitors because there are cafes, restaurants with beautiful views to Hoan Kiem Lake and the square.

"The upcoming city center area will have many changes, I hope there will be more open space for people and tourists," he shared.

However, the information that Ham Cam building was demolished on April 7 is completely incorrect.

According to the Hanoi Department of Construction, recently, a large number of people have flocked to the Shark Den to take check-in photos, causing traffic insecurity. Therefore, the authorities have adjusted the traffic flow in this area to ensure traffic safety.

The Department of Construction piloted traffic organization adjustment in the Dong Kinh - Nghia Thuc Square area (Hoan Kiem District) from April 7, 2025 to April 30, 2025.

Accordingly, the area of Le Thai To Street (opposite Hong Van - Long Van Building, No. 1 - 3 Le Thai To) will be fenced off and vehicles will be restricted to the fountain of Dong Kinh - Nghia Thuc Square.

Not only on the occasion of Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, there are often many people gathering in Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.

Restaurants have recorded a sudden increase in the number of customers, especially on weekends when the tables are always full. Many restaurants do not accept pre-booking tables because the number of customers is too large.

spa spa manager Laika cafe said that customers coming to the restaurant during peak hours often have to queue.

In addition, digital camera photography services, bicycle props, fresh flowers... are also flourishing. The average price of the photography service is from 10,000 - 50,000 VND, depending on the customer's request to take a file or print a photo immediately. The photo tour service with the wedding dress costs 20,000 VND/trip.
