On April 30, 1 and May 2, Tran Phu Street - the city's main coastal route - continuously had tourist vehicles moving slowly towards the wharf and cable car station to the island.
Recorded at Nha Trang Tourist Wharf, the activity of picking up and dropping off visitors to the islands in the bay is bustling.
Mr. Tran Van Phu - Head of Nha Trang Tourist Boat Management Department - said: "By around 11am, the boat dock had welcomed about 8,000 visitors, expected to reach 9,000 visitors per day".
According to Mr. Phu, the 5-day holiday is an advantage to help the number of visitors be distributed evenly, not focusing on one peak day. Thanks to that, departure activities are guaranteed, there is no congestion or tourists have to wait long.

Island tours still dominate
Tours to explore the sea and islands continue to be a priority choice for tourists when coming to Nha Trang. Of which, tours to visit 4 islands including Hon Mot, Hon Mun, Hon Tam and Bai Tranh account for about 70% of the number of tourists booking tours at the wharf.
In addition to domestic tourists, this year recorded a significant increase in the number of international visitors, especially from Korea. Foreign groups are excited to experience activities such as diving in the sea to see coral, kayaking, or enjoying seafood at a restaurant floating in the bay.
At VinWonders Nha Trang Tourist Area, there are quite a lot of visitors, however, thanks to good coordination, buying tickets and lining up to take a cable car across the island is going smoothly.
Mr. Xuan Tan, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, shared: "I was quite surprised that I didn't have to queue for too long even though this place is very crowded with holidays".

land tourist attractions still attract visitors
Not only the sea and islands, famous tourist destinations in the mainland such as Ponagar Tower, Oceanographic Museum, Truong Son Craft Village, Hoa Lan Island, Monkey Island... also recorded a stable number of visitors.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang - Head of the Ponagar Tower Relic Site Management Board - said: On April 30 and May 1, the relic site welcomed more than 12,000 visitors (not including free visitors). This is the same as the normal weekend, there is no overload".
A representative of Long Phu Tourism Joint Stock Company said that in the first 3 days of the holiday, Hoa Lan Island and Monkey Island welcomed about 5,000 visitors, equal to the same period last year.
