Reaction of Korean guests eating grilled pork for the first time in Vietnam

As soon as guests sit at the table, the staff will bring up an appetizer of grilled rice paper with a special spicy sauce. Even though customers do not actively order, the restaurant will still serve this dish. If you eat, diners have to pay 8,000 VND.

The main dish that two Korean diners requested was grilled pork stew. Both shared that this was the first time they heard of this dish.

The pork belly is brought to a small charcoal stove and guests will grill it directly at the table. The sauce is well-seasoned and when grilled, it will have a beautiful color and delicious, seductive flavor.

Both experienced characters were surprised to enjoy the taste of pork stew. Female comedian Shin Bong-sun affirmed: “I absolutely love the texture of meat. It's both soft and crunchy."

Rapper Jung Han-hae said: "I thought it was just like beef tenderloin so it would be a bit dry but it wasn't."

Two Korean diners humorously said that Vietnamese pork belly dish tastes like pork rinds, chicken gizzards and pork belly mixed together because it is both soft and crunchy and not as difficult to eat as they thought. The two recommend that everyone who has the opportunity to visit Vietnam should definitely try this dish once because it is extremely delicious.

In addition, the experience character also enjoys grilled ostrich meat and frog meat at the restaurant.

At first glance when alive, ostrich meat has a characteristic red color quite similar to beef. When grilled, the meat smells like yakiniku (Japanese barbecue).

Diners commented that ostrich meat tastes like beef but is softer and has less fat. In particular, ostrich meat is considered one of the meats with the highest protein content. A portion of ostrich meat costs about 5,400 won (100,000 VND).

As for frog meat, diners said the dish is fragrant, meaty and lean, not inferior to chicken. However, not everyone likes this dish because it will have a unique smell. A portion of frog meat costs about 5,100 won (95,000 VND).

Summing up the meal, Korean diners agreed that pork stew was the best dish of all three types of meat they tried at the restaurant.
