Having a hobby of driving a single car, Mr. Cao Nhat Phi (27 years old, Binh Duong) also has another hobby of taking landscape photos, especially the roads, street corners or places associated with important historical milestones of the nation.
In 2024, the male tourist spent a week in Hanoi to pursue his interests. Unable to arrange his work, when he first went to the capital, he allowed himself to have an exception: not riding a motorbike across Vietnam but taking a plane to have time to take pictures of all the alleys of Hanoi, each location has its own story.
On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday (19.05.1890), Nhat Phi shared a special photo series during her journey of discovery in the capital. The photo series attracted thousands of interactions.

In particular, before this trip, he planned to visit a number of places associated with President Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi, including the Presidential Palace Relic Site - which has preserved important historical events.
That is a wooden stilt house built in the style of an ethnic stilt house in the Viet Bac battle zone with fish ponds and green gardens around. The simple house was where he lived and worked from May58 to August 1969, where he spent time writing his will from 1965 to 1969.
That is also where President Ho Chi Minh, Prime Minister Pham Van Dong, Party and State leaders took a photo to commemorate the Spring of the Year of the Snake in 2019.

Mr. Phi shared: "Each of such results will be classified, arranged from hundreds of panels. Which image will be used to be used on the application to pour color, paint every detail on the image, erase the distance between the past and the present. Not to mention, the color of the small photos before printing is quite pale, all of me raise the resolution, coloring small details."
The photo series about Uncle Ho was taken by the male tourist for about 2 weeks. The photo series is the result of Mr. Phi's 100% efforts. He said that there were some photos that were too bright because it was too sunny, so he had to move to shady areas to regain his composure before taking photos many times.

In addition, there were many situations that prevented him from fully implementing his photography idea, with objective reasons such as no more scenery, not finding a standing position, aperture and camera on the phone that did not match the photos, prohibited locations...
"For all the photo sets I prepared for each trip, the convergence rate is only about 50-60% . However, when I look back at the results, I am still very satisfied. I do it for personal interests and passion, and respect for history. Looking at reality, I always think, "Oh, there were people who lived here, who were here, with this scene but there are no more people. Who they are, what they have gone through, no one knows, only know that they are historical people," he said.
