On January 25, Quang Ngai Provincial Police informed that on January 21, a conflict occurred between Pham Quy Trong (21 years old), son of Mr. Pham Hong Cuong (44 years old), in Pho Trung village, An Phu commune, who is the owner of fishing boat QNg-97315-TS, and Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi (41 years old), in Tinh Khe commune, owner of fishing boat QNg-11965-TS, about the fishing boat anchorage at Tinh Ky port, Tinh Khe commune.
After that, Mr. Loi and Trong used weapons to fight each other. Trong used a wooden stick to hit Mr. Loi's head, injuring him and taking him to the emergency room.
Hearing that his uncle was beaten, Mr. Vo Van Dong (29 years old), Mr. Loi's nephew, in Co Luy village, Tinh Khe commune, and Mr. Loi's family came, and continued to argue and scuffle with Trong's family.
At this time, Pham Viet Manh (26 years old), Trong's biological brother and Pham Quy Trong, climbed onto ship QNg-97315-TS, took a pair of scissors and a knife, chased and stabbed Mr. Dong.
As a result, Mr. Dong died on the way to the emergency room. Immediately after the incident occurred, Tinh Khe Commune Police coordinated with An Phu Commune Police and the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police to arrest the suspect. Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded by the Criminal Police Department.
