Accordingly, there is only one unit interested in this project which is a joint venture of 4 companies including: Daewoo Engineering & Construction Vietnam Co., Ltd., THT Development Co., Ltd., GIP Land Co., Ltd. and GIP Land Co., Ltd. ZUP Invest.
This information quickly received great attention from public opinion, because according to research, Daewoo Engineering & Construction Vietnam Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as DECVN) was established in January 2017, headquartered in Hanoi, whose main occupation is building houses of all kinds. DECVN's charter capital is 1 million USD, owned by Deawoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd (headquartered in Korea).
THT Development Co., Ltd. present in the joint venture is also another member of Daewoo E&C. Notably, this company is known as the investor of the Tay Ho Tay urban area project (trade name Starlake) with a scale of more than 186 hectares in Hanoi.
The third member in the joint venture is ZUP Invest Co., Ltd., newly established on June 6, its main business is real estate business, with a charter capital of 250 billion VND.
GIP Land Co., Ltd. is the youngest enterprise in the joint venture when it was first established on June 8 (headquartered in Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province), its main business is real estate business. The charter capital of this enterprise is 494 billion VND, of which Green I-Park Joint Stock Company holds 99.8% of the shares. The company is headed by Mr. Bui The Long as General Director and legal representative.
Mr. Long is also the General Director and legal representative of Green I-Park Joint Stock Company, the infrastructure investor of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park (Thai Thuy district).
Total investment in Kien Giang new urban area is over 9,000 billion VND
The Kien Giang new urban area housing development project has a population of about 18,600 people. The project is located in 3 wards: Ky Ba, Quang Trung, Tran Lam and 2 communes Vu Phuc and Vu Chinh, all within the administrative boundaries of Thai Binh City, developed according to the model of new urban areas, synchronous infrastructure. socio-technical.
After completion, the project will provide more than 1,400 adjacent products, rough-built villas, 5 25-storey apartment buildings and 15-storey social housing. In addition, the project also reserves about 48,000 square meters of land for commercial and service projects.
The total investment in Kien Giang new urban area is nearly 9,300 billion VND, not including compensation, support and resettlement costs (about 417 billion VND). Once completed, the project will be among the top urban areas of Thai Binh province.
The project was approved by the People's Committee of Thai Binh province with a detailed planning of 1/500 in January 2017 and adjusted planning in April 2024, and investment policy approved in May 2024. The project implementation period is expected to be 96 months from the date of land allocation.
During the recent meeting on July 3 with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, leaders of Daewoo E&C Group wanted to participate in investing in construction projects in the fields of energy, power plants, industrial parks and infrastructure. in Viet Nam.
