In February 2003, the People's Committee of Long An province issued a decision approving the detailed planning of Go Den residential area with an area of about 20.2 hectares. In June 2004, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to allocate land to Go Mon Real Estate Company (now Real Estate Joint Stock Company 6) to build residential areas in My Yen commune and Phuoc Loi commune (Ben Luc district).
