The Department of Natural Resources and Environment (TNMT) of Ninh Hoa town has just issued a document reporting the inspection of documents related to the content of Lao Dong Newspaper after the article "giant shrimp farm built on forest land".
Before the report, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ninh Hoa town coordinated with relevant agencies to inspect the current status of the shrimp farm area of Mr. Le Minh Chinh - Owner of Chinh My Aquaculture Farm in Ninh Phu commune.
Working with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Mr. Le Minh Chinh was only able to provide some photocopies, not originals.

In addition, Mr. Chinh could not provide any other documents or decisions of competent authorities related to the permission to change the purpose of use from production forest land to aquaculture land.
Mr. Le Minh Chinh confirmed that he was the investor, builder and installer of items and works on production forest land and perennial crop land to build shrimp farms; the time of construction and installation of items and works on forest land and starting of shrimp farming was from October 2021.
On September 16, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment reported to the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town and affirmed that Mr. Le Minh Chinh's investment in installing items and constructing works on production forest land and perennial crop land to serve shrimp farming is a violation of land use for the wrong purpose according to the provisions of the Land Law.
Therefore, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of the town proposed that the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town direct Ninh Phu commune to establish a record of administrative violations in the field of land against Mr. Le Minh Chinh for using land for the wrong purpose and impose a penalty according to regulations.
