On April 3, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa chaired a working session with the People's Committee of Bac Giang province on a number of cases of handling complaints and denunciations of citizens in the province.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Information Portal, the report of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment shows that, recently, some citizens of Bac Giang province have continuously come in the monthly reception days of the Minister of Agriculture and the Environment to reflect that the local government has not considered and resolved complaints of households, causing insecurity, affecting the ministry's operation.
The leaders of the Ministry and the Ministry Inspectorate have repeatedly received and issued documents to transfer the petition to the locality. The Ministry Inspectorate has also sent a Working Group to work with local authorities, but until now, citizens have continuously come to the Ministry to report that it has not been resolved.
Mr. Le Vu Tuan Anh - Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment - said that many cases are not under the authority of the Ministry and requested the Provincial People's Committee to specifically report on the settlement of complaints and denunciations of the province according to regulations.
Mr. Pham Van Thinh - Vice Chairman of Bac Giang People's Committee - said that after the meeting, the province will assign the provincial Inspectorate, the Department of Agriculture and the environment to coordinate with the districts to agree to resolve in accordance with the order and provisions of the law on settlement of complaints and denunciations.
According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa, General Secretary To Lam has directed the final settlement of complaints and denunciations that have lasted for a long time in the second quarter. The Prime Minister also gave strong instructions on this matter, therefore, the Ministry wants to completely resolve the complaints and denunciations of Bac Giang province.
The Deputy Minister asked the People's Committee of Bac Giang Province to direct the departments and localities to carry out the settlement of complaints and denunciations of citizens according to their competence, in accordance with the order and law, especially to take measures to completely resolve the case, not for citizens to complain to the central agencies. The settlement time is completed in April 2025 and reports the results to the Ministry of Agriculture and the Environment.
