Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the investment policy and approving the investor for the Omani Mu Cang Chai international high-class resort project in Ta Chi Lu village, La Pan Tan commune, Mu Cang Chai district.
The project has an area of 5.2 hectares and is invested by Mu Cang Chai Discovery Joint Stock Company.
Omani Mu Cang Chai will be a high-end international standard resort project with a total investment of nearly 500 billion VND, including 38 resort villas, 2 hotels, service restaurants and many other convenient services.
According to Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Mu Cang Chai Discovery Company Nguyen Thi Quynh Chi, Omani Mu Cang Chai is at an altitude of 1,450m above sea level, surrounded by terraced fields stretching as far as the eye can see, more than 2km down to National Highway 32.
This will be an ideal destination for domestic and international tourists to come to Mu Cang Chai to admire and immerse themselves in the sparkling rice fields like large mirrors in the pouring water season, dyed with the emerald green color of new rice, and golden yellow like golden silk strips when the rice is ripe. This is a clear proof of the opinion of the travel site Wanderlust Stotytellers voted in 2024: Mu Cang Chai possesses an incredibly surreal beauty.
Once completed, the tourist area will contribute to improving the resort tourism infrastructure here, awakening the great potential of indigenous cultural exploration tourism, natural health care and meditation, which are considered sustainable future trends. This is a highlight to elevate Yen Bai tourism.
Mu Cang Chai is a mountainous district in the west of Yen Bai province, located at the foot of Hoang Lien Son mountain range, at an altitude of over 2,000m above sea level.
This place not only attracts tourists by the majestic natural beauty of Khau Pha - one of the "four great mountain passes" of the Northwest, the terraced fields ranked as a special national monument, but this place also contains the unique culture of the H'Mong ethnic group, along with many famous local products.
