“U19 Vietnam still lacks experience competing in international tournaments. Although the team had 3 friendly matches in China, that was not enough for the players to compete towards a highly competitive tournament like U19 Southeast Asia. Hopefully through this journey, the players will improve towards the 2024 U20 Asian qualifiers.
There are currently 2 players I am most satisfied with in the past 2 matches. Those are Cong Phuong and Quang Dung. The two of them still maintain good form like when they participated in the previous friendly tournament in China," coach Hua Hien Vinh added.
U19 Vietnam still has the final match against U19 Laos in the group stage. The results of this competition also have a more or less impact on U19 Vietnam's ability to continue.
