On August 24, Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc - Chairman of Binh Thuan Public Employees' Union said he and members of the Emulation Group awarded scholarships to poor students who are studious before the 2024 - 2025 school year.
Binh Thuan Public Employees' Union currently has 64 affiliated grassroots unions and is divided into 6 emulation clusters, with nearly 4,000 union members.
Emulation Cluster I includes 11 grassroots trade unions headed by the grassroots trade union of Binh Thuan Lottery Company Limited.
According to Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc - Chairman of Binh Thuan Public Employees' Union, the scholarships awarded by Cluster I are aimed at the right subjects and are of high value so that they can cover their expenses throughout the school year, not to many students. But each child receives a small amount of money.
Through review, Emulation Group I awarded scholarships to 2 poor studious students of Phan Hoa commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan.
Among them, Bao Tran is preparing to enter 10th grade, achieving the achievement of being an excellent student, and Van Thanh is preparing to enter 6th grade, achieving the achievement of being a good student.
These are Cham ethnic students from poor households in the commune but are studious and always try to improve in their studies.
Each child was awarded a savings book by Emulation Group I with a value of 5 million VND/book. In addition, there were many gifts and cash gifts from establishments and sponsors, totaling nearly 20 million VND.
This is the second activity of Emulation Cluster 1 in 2024, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Binh Thuan Provincial Public Employees' Union and the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
