Speaking at the program, Mr. Tran Van Thang - Chairman of the Hai Phong Education Trade Union - said that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Education Trade Union has mobilized, sponsored and received attention from all levels and sectors in giving gifts and taking care of cadres, teachers and students. In particular, the Hai Phong City People's Committee and the Hai Phong City Labor Federation have allocated 170 subsidies, 95 gifts, and 25 bus tickets to union members and workers in the Hai Phong Education sector with a total cost of more than 370 million VND. The total cost of Tet care of the Hai Phong Education Trade Union is nearly 500 million VND.
At the program, leaders of the Department of Education and Training, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation and the Education Trade Union presented subsidies and Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; deaf and blind students of the city, and excellent students of Le Quy Don High School.
Also at the program, the Hai Phong Education Trade Union held a ceremony to attach a plaque to the Le Quy Don High School Multi-purpose Building. The multi-purpose building has an area of 800 m2, is a place to organize educational, physical education and sports activities, creating a space to connect the community, improving the comprehensive education quality of the school. The project celebrates the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025).
