Anthropic is expanding its integrated service portfolio for chatbot Claude. This platform can now connect to accounts such as Spotify, TripAdvisor, Uber, Booking,... The company said it will continue to add more services in the near future.
Strengthening third-party integration is becoming a common trend for AI companies, aiming to improve the usefulness of products. When linking multiple applications, chatbots can handle more complex tasks for users. Previously, Anthropic connections mainly served the working environment and education, but now have expanded to personal needs.
For example, Claude can support mountain climbing planning, then automatically suggest music lists on Spotify that match the duration of the trip.
Anthropic also adjusts the display of applications, allowing the system to automatically suggest appropriate services right in the conversation. Users do not need to switch back and forth between applications as before. However, like other AI systems, Claude still needs confirmation from the user before performing actions such as booking or payment.
The expansion of the ecosystem shows Anthropic's ambition to turn Claude into a true "digital assistant", capable of handling all life needs. However, the question of privacy, data control and the reliability of AI in real-world transactions will still be a major challenge in the road ahead.
