The Military Command of An Giang province has organized the handover of 3 Great Solidarity houses to households in difficult circumstances in Hon Dat commune.

In the bustling atmosphere of military-civilian Tet activities celebrating Chol Chnam Thmay 2026, on April 8, the Military Command (CHQS) of An Giang province organized the handover of 3 Great Solidarity houses to households in difficult circumstances in Hon Dat commune.

Three houses were handed over to households including: Mr. Chao Phuol (born in 1979), Mr. Danh Ren (born in 1973) and Mr. Danh Lang (born in 1989), all residing in Hon Me hamlet, Hon Dat commune. Each house was supported with construction costs of 60 million VND from the mobilized funds of the Provincial Military Command and coordinating units, contributing to helping families stabilize their accommodation and rise up in life.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Chau Chac - Deputy Political Commissar of An Giang Provincial Military Command emphasized that supporting the construction of houses for households in difficult circumstances is a practical and meaningful activity in the "Military-Civilian Tet" program, showing the spirit of responsibility and concern of the provincial armed forces for the lives of the people, especially the Khmer ethnic people in the area.

The new houses not only help families settle down but also contribute to tightening military-civilian solidarity, creating a joyful atmosphere for people to celebrate the Chol Chnam Thmay Tet in more spacious and warmer conditions. Thereby, continuing to consolidate people's trust in the Party, State and armed forces, joining hands to build an increasingly developed homeland.
