Implementing the emulation movement "For the Poor - Leaving No One Behind", over the past time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province and organizations and communities have supported many poor and near-poor households to build solid houses, gradually stabilizing their lives.
According to VNA, these days, the family of Mr. Y Xuan H'Mok (born 1980, Buon Ky, Thanh Nhat ward) is completing a new 56m2 house. The family is near-poor, with income mainly based on farming, so they have lived in a dilapidated, leaky house for many years.
From the support of 80 million VND from the provincial-level Fund for the Poor, 30 million VND from the Thanh Nhat Ward Fund for the Poor, and the help of relatives and villagers, his family has had the conditions to build a new house.

“Previously, every time it rained, the whole family was always worried about the house leaking and the wind blowing. Now that we have a new house, we are very happy,” Mr. Y Xuan H'Mok shared.
According to Mr. Y Xuan Nie - Deputy Secretary of Ky hamlet Party Cell, the whole hamlet has about 1,200 households, currently there are 7 near-poor households. In the process of building Great Solidarity houses, the Party Committee and the hamlet's self-management board have mobilized people to support working days to reduce costs for difficult households.
In Ea Kao ward, in May 2026, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward handed over 2 Great Solidarity houses to poor households. One of them is the family of Ms. H'Rin Bkrông in Tơng Ju hamlet.
Her family is classified as a poor household, the couple works as hired laborers to raise 3 children to study. The new house is about 60m2 wide, with a total construction cost of about 170 million VND. In which, the Provincial Fund for the Poor, the Fund for the Poor of Ea Kao Ward and Pho Hien Pagoda supported a total of 110 million VND.
According to Ms. Do Thi Kim Dung - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Nhat ward, after implementing the two-level local government model, the locality has started construction of 5 new Great Solidarity houses and repaired one house for poor and near-poor households.
In 2026, from the 38 billion VND support source of Dong Nai province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province has allocated funds to 100/102 communes and wards to build 475 Great Solidarity houses with a support level of 80 million VND/house.
Mr. Pham Van Bay - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province - said that so far about 100 houses have been completed and handed over to people for use. The remaining houses are being accelerated, many reaching from 60 - 80% of the volume.
In 2025, implementing the Prime Minister's policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, Dak Lak province has built more than 8,800 houses. However, the locality still has many households facing difficulties due to lack of counterpart funds or unclear land origins, so the review continues to be implemented annually.
