10 communes in Lang Son assigned to be investors of 123 projects

Lang Son - After arranging the local government at two levels, 10 communes in the province are assigned to be the investors of 123 tasks and projects.

The People's Committee of Lang Son province has just issued a decision assigning the People's Committees of 10 communes to perform the task of investors for 123 tasks and projects after arranging the local government at two levels.

In this total, there are 104 public investment projects and 19 tasks and projects using state budget capital in addition to public investment.

The assigned localities include Dong Dang, Loc Binh, Dinh Lap, Chi Lang, Huu Lung, Na Sam, That Khe, Van Quan, Binh Gia and Bac Son.

The Provincial People's Committee requests that the receipt, handover and management of projects must be carried out continuously, without interrupting the implementation process after the end of the district level.

Among the 10 localities, Dong Dang commune is assigned the most projects with 49 tasks and projects, including 47 public investment projects and 2 non-public investment projects.

Next are Loc Binh and Na Sam communes, receiving 18 projects together; Binh Gia commune 11 projects, Van Quan commune 9 projects, Chi Lang commune 8 projects. The remaining communes are assigned from 2 to 3 projects.

The list of transfers to Dong Dang commune includes many infrastructure, education, transportation and urban embellishment projects such as Po Nghieu - Phu Xa - Hong Phong roads, renovation and upgrading of Cao Loc town market (old), centralized domestic water supply for Pa Pai residential area, construction of Thuy Hung commune cultural house, and restoration of Thuy Mon Dinh stele relic.

This locality also receives the task of repairing and renovating the campus and railing of marker number 1116 at Huu Nghi International Border Gate.

In Loc Binh commune, the projects handed over mainly relate to schools, rural transport, planning and land management.

Including the project to renovate and upgrade Loc Binh Town Secondary School, renovate Na Duong Town Primary School, adjust land use planning to 2030 for Loc Binh district, inventory land and map the current status of land use in 2024.

According to the decision, new investors must coordinate with relevant units to receive and hand over projects, implement the finalization of the 2025 budget year and tasks under the investor's responsibility according to regulations.

The Chairman of the Commune-level People's Committee assigned to be the investor must directly manage the project after arrangement, ensure progress and comply with legal regulations.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned departments, boards, and branches to continue to inspect, guide, and remove difficulties in the transfer and implementation process. In case problems arise, the commune-level People's Committee and the agency assigned to the investor must report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution.
