Responding to the month of action for the poor, on November 27, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Tam Xuan commune (Da Nang) coordinated with organizations to inaugurate and hand over the solidarity house to Mr. Vo Ngoc Thoai.
Mr. Vo Ngoc Thoai (Khuong My village) is a poor, single-parent household, and his temporary house has seriously degraded.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Xuan commune connected with organizations and businesses to support 60 million VND to build a great solidarity house for Mr. Thoai, helping the family have a solid house to stabilize their lives.
Notably, in 2025, Tam Xuan commune has built 5 solidarity houses for poor households and those in difficult circumstances with a total cost of over 300 million VND. The funding source is taken from the commune's Fund for the Poor and social mobilization.
Also in November 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chien Dan commune also coordinated with the enterprise to hand over the gratitude house to Ms. Cao Thi Phung (Dan Long village).
The house was completed after more than a month of construction, from the support of 60 million VND from the enterprise and 13.2 million VND mobilized by the Dan Long Village Front Working Committee. Thereby, it added motivation for Ms. Cao Thi Phung's family to rise up in life.
According to Mr. Thai Binh - Secretary of the Party Committee of Chien Dan commune (Da Nang), the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area in recent times has had a strong influence, creating a wide response among the people.
Many organizations, businesses and philanthropists have accompanied financial support and working days, contributing to helping disadvantaged households have conditions to build and repair houses, creating motivation for the locality to continue to do a good job of sustainable poverty reduction.
