20 Laotian officers complete Border Guard training

Quang Binh - The provincial Border Guard has just held the closing ceremony of a Border Guard training course for 20 Lao military officers.

On October 4, the Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard announced that the Mobile Training Battalion, the Provincial Border Guard Command (BDBP), had just held the closing ceremony of a Border Guard training course for Lao military officers.

After more than 1 month of studying and training, 20 officers of the Military Command of Khammouane Province (Laos) completed the training course with 100% good and excellent results, of which more than 70% were excellent.

This result has accurately assessed the actual training mission of Quang Binh Border Guard.

With this result, the students are confident in the knowledge they have been equipped with to apply in performing their tasks. This is also the force that continues to inherit and nurture the solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam - Laos and Laos - Vietnam.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Colonel Bun Lot Bup Pha Van - Commander of the Military Command of Kham Muon province, on behalf of the working delegation, expressed gratitude to the officers and soldiers of Quang Binh Border Guard.

Along with that, thanks to the teachers and interpreters who overcame all difficulties to fully convey the program content, on time as planned and ensuring safety.

This cooperation and assistance contributes significantly to the professional work, strategy for protecting and building the country, and implementing the defense and security policies of the two Parties, two States, and two armies.

The training was attended by core cadres, aiming to build a regular army and the Border Guard force of Kham Muon province to grow stronger in quantity and quality to meet the requirements of border management, protection and maintenance of security, order and stability in the border area.

On this occasion, the delegations of the two forces presented many meaningful gifts and certificates of merit to students and teachers for their excellent achievements in teaching and learning during the training course.
