The Provincial People's Committee requests the best preparation of conditions to serve the people to celebrate spring and welcome Tet, creating a new atmosphere and new motivation to continue to successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st An Giang Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress.
Ensure good implementation of security and order, traffic safety, fire and explosion prevention, food safety, environmental sanitation, landscape before, during and after Tet; ensure stable electricity and water supply, and smooth communication.
Levels, sectors, and localities ensure that the organization of Tet celebration activities must comply with and fully implement the regulations and directives of the Government and central ministries and sectors.

The province also organizes delegations of provincial leaders to visit and wish Tet to armed forces units, hospitals, schools, camps, centers, typical people with meritorious services to the revolution and social protection facilities,... in the period from January 28, 2026 to February 10, 2026.
Visiting and wishing Tet on New Year's Eve included 6 delegations of provincial leaders visiting and wishing Tet to some departments, departments, patients at hospitals, some units on duty to serve and protect Tet, and sanitation workers in Rach Gia and Long Xuyen wards.

The Tet market stabilization program is implemented from January 18 to February 1. According to the plan, 2 ships will bring goods to the islands, including Cu Tron hamlet, Bai Nha hamlet (Kien Hai special zone), Hon Nghe commune, Son Hai commune, Tien Hai commune... to serve people's Tet shopping needs.
