An Giang trains and disseminates laws in ethnic minority areas

An Giang - The delegates are hamlet officials, prestigious people and ethnic minorities in the area.

On June 22, at the Hall of the People's Committee of Nhon Hoi commune, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province coordinated with the Provincial Military Command (CHQS) and the People's Committee of Nhon Hoi commune to organize the opening ceremony of the training class, propaganda, dissemination, and education of legal knowledge in ethnic minority areas in 2026.

Speaking at the opening of the training class, the Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Danh Tha province emphasized the role of propaganda, dissemination, and legal education in ethnic minority areas; and affirmed that this is a practical activity to raise awareness and legal compliance for the people, contributing to building the great national unity bloc, maintaining political security and social order and safety in border areas.

At the training class, Lieutenant Colonel Truong Ut Bac, Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Provincial Military Command, directly conveyed contents on national defense and security; the situation of military and local defense tasks; the work of building an all-people national defense associated with the people's security posture; raising awareness and responsibility of ethnic minorities in participating in protecting national border sovereignty, preventing and combating crimes and law violations. In addition, delegates were also disseminated the basic contents of the 2025 Law on Inspection, the Party and State's guidelines and policies on ethnic affairs, and specific policies for ethnic minorities in the province.

Through the training class, trainees are updated with legal knowledge, improve their understanding of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; thereby promoting the role of reputable people and grassroots officials in propagating and mobilizing people to comply with the law, actively participate in socio-economic development, build a cultural life, maintain security and order, and firmly consolidate the all-people national defense and people's security posture in the locality. This is also an activity contributing to the effective implementation of the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas in 2026 in An Giang province.
