On April 24, in a solemn atmosphere at the Headquarters of the Executive Board - Phap Minh Pagoda (My Hanh commune), the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (GHPGVN) of Tay Ninh province solemnly organized the Great Ceremony to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (1981-2026).
The ceremony was witnessed by elder Venerable Thich Thien Phap, Standing Member of the Patronage Council, Standing Vice Chairman of the VBS Patronage Council; elder Venerable Thich Thien Hue, Member of the Patronage Council, Patronage Board of the VBS Provincial Executive Committee; Venerable Thich Minh Thien, Member of the Patronage Council, Advisor - Patronage Board of the Provincial Executive Committee; Venerable Thich Quang Tam, Member of the Patronage Council, Head of the Patronage Board of the VBS Provincial Executive Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee; along with dignitaries of the Patronage Board, monks, nuns, Buddhists of pagodas in the province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Venerable Thich Quang Tam, Head of the Executive Board of GHPGVN Tay Ninh province cum Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized the great historical significance of the 1981 milestone. This is the time to affirm the spirit of solidarity and harmony of Buddhism nationwide, creating a premise for the Sangha to continuously grow and make sustainable contributions to social security, education, and charity work over the past 45 years. Regarding Tay Ninh Buddhism, after 43 years of formation, the unit has achieved many important achievements, contributing to building the great national unity bloc and always accompanying the development of the locality.

Reporting in detail on the development journey, Venerable Thich Thien Danh said that the whole province currently has 326 self-relieve facilities with more than 1,500 monks and nuns and hundreds of thousands of Buddhists who regularly participate in monastic activities.
Besides focusing on monastic work and training, the most prominent mark of Buddhism in the province is social charity activities with a total contribution value of over 1,523 billion VND.

These efforts have actively contributed to building new rural areas and supporting difficult circumstances in the locality. In particular, the merger of Buddhism in Long An and Tay Ninh provinces has created a solid foundation, promoting the tradition of "national protection and people's security" in the new period.

Also within the framework of the grand ceremony, the Provincial Executive Board cut the ribbon to open the Zen tea cultural exhibition. The exhibition space vividly summarized the typical achievements of Buddhism in Long An and Tay Ninh before merging, demonstrating the long journey of accompanying the nation of monks, nuns, and Buddhists in this land.
