On April 22nd (the 6th day of the 3rd year of Binh Ngo), at the Headquarters of the Executive Board - Provincial Association Temple (Tran Bien ward), the first meeting of the Standing Committee of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (GHPGVN) of Dong Nai province took place after the success of the 1st Provincial Buddhist Congress, term 2026-2031.
The meeting was chaired by Venerable Thich Hue Khai - Standing Member of the Executive Council (HĐTS), Head of the Executive Board of the VBS of Dong Nai province. Co-chairing the meeting were Venerable Thich Tinh Cuong - Standing Deputy Head of the BTS; along with venerable elders of the Deputy Executive Board, venerable elders of the Standing Board and the Office of the Provincial Executive Board.

At the meeting, the Secretariat reported on the summary of the organization of the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Buddhist Congress. According to the assessment from the Central Committee of the VBS, this is a resoundingly successful Congress.
Also on this occasion, representatives of the Secretariat approved Decision No. 111/QD-HDTS dated April 17, 2026 of the Standing Committee of the VBS on approving the personnel of the Executive Board of the VBS of Dong Nai province for the term 2026-2031. This is an important legal basis for the Executive Board to officially manage Buddhist activities in the new term.
In the 2026-2031 term, it is expected to organize 3 Dai Gioi Dan sessions, the first Gioi Dan session in October 2026 bearing the title of Chief Venerable Minh Chanh.

The Secretariat also implemented Circulars No. 87, 88 of the Central Church on organizing Buddha's Birthday and An cư kiết hạ. The Executive Board proposed an area-based An cư organization plan and headquarters directly under BTS management (such as Buu Hung Pagoda, Xuan Loc Pagoda)... to create favorable conditions for monks and nuns to study.
Speaking to direct at the meeting, Venerable Thich Hue Khai emphasized the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of each member of the Standing Committee. The Venerable emphasized: "The summary and thorough evaluation of organizational work is not only to praise the achieved results, but more importantly to review and draw valuable lessons learned. This will be the foundation for the Board of Directors to operate the new term's apparatus smoothly and effectively, bringing the Buddhist affairs of the province to develop more and more, with the consensus of all Venerable Monks and Buddhists of Dong Nai province, it will continue to achieve many brilliant achievements, worthy of the expectations of monks, nuns and Buddhists of the province".
