On January 21st and 22nd, a delegation of the Border Guard Command (BDBP) of Hue City led by Colonel Dang Ngoc Hieu - Political Commissar of the Border Guard Command of Hue City attended and directed the conference to deploy the tasks of Border Guard work in 2026 at Border Guard Stations on the Vietnam - Laos border line.
In 2025, the Border Guard Stations have synchronously deployed measures to manage and protect national borders; proactively grasped the situation, effectively fought against crimes and violations of the law. Propaganda and mobilization of people and border guard foreign affairs have been strengthened; officers and soldiers actively participate in helping people develop socio-economics, prevent and overcome the consequences of natural disasters, contributing to consolidating the border defense posture of the whole people.
Stepping into 2026, units determine to continue to improve the overall quality, promote the core role in managing and firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security; proactively forecast and closely assess the situation; effectively prevent and combat crimes; promote mass mobilization, participate in building the grassroots political system and socio-economic development in border areas.
Speaking to direct, Colonel Dang Ngoc Hieu acknowledged and praised the achieved results; requested units to closely monitor the area, strengthen coordination with functional forces, and promote the application of digital transformation in performing tasks. At the same time, continue to do well in propaganda and border guard diplomacy; effectively implement Directive No. 01 of the Prime Minister and the Project on building a people-wide border defense, contributing to maintaining sovereignty and border security in the new situation.
On this occasion, units launched the "Determined to Win" Emulation movement in 2026 with the theme "Unity, discipline, breakthrough, creativity, determination to win" and awarded commendations to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.
