The project worth nearly 80 million VND was sponsored by local authorities through benefactors, including 40 locations of iron pillars hanging the national flag and solar energy lamps.

The project is extended for more than 2km on the route from the National Highway 14C intersection to Dak Dang Border Guard Station.

This is an important route, where people and officers and soldiers often travel.

The Border Lighting Program is a practical activity of the Border Guard in coordination with units and localities, aiming to improve people's travel and living conditions, while contributing to changing the face of the border area.

The program is also of great significance in managing and protecting border sovereignty, making observation and mobilization of forces at night more convenient and timely.
