Dong Thap Border Guard Command holds oath-taking ceremony for 160 new soldiers

Dong Thap - 160 new soldiers were organized a sworn ceremony by the Provincial Border Guard Command after 3 months of training.

On the morning of June 10, the Training - Mobile Battalion, Border Guard (BĐBP) of Dong Thap province, organized the 2026 New Soldier Oath-taking Ceremony for 160 soldiers. Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hoa - Commander of the Border Guard Command of Dong Thap province attended and directed the ceremony.

After 3 months of training, 100% of new soldiers have firm political bravery, clearly understand the position, role, goals, and ideals of the Vietnam People's Army and understand the glorious traditions of the nation and the army. The soldiers gradually form regular working style, strictly comply with military regulations and discipline, actively study, train physically and are equipped with basic knowledge and skills of revolutionary soldiers.

During the training process, new soldiers proficiently use the types of weapons and equipment assigned; well perform technical and tactical contents, team regulations and martial arts. The results of inspection of training contents ensure absolute safety for people and weapons and equipment. The contents of shooting STV-215 guns, throwing grenades, explosives and many other subjects all achieved good and excellent results.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hoa praised the achievements of officers and soldiers of the Mobile Training Battalion and new soldiers in the past time. At the same time, he requested the unit to continue to improve the quality of training and troop management; ensure full content, time, and troop numbers to participate in training, and maintain absolute safety in all activities.

After the oath-taking ceremony, 160 new soldiers will continue to be trained and professionally trained in border guard nghiệp vụ and related legal documents. This is an important foundation to help soldiers equip themselves with full knowledge and skills to successfully complete their tasks when assigned to work at units on the two border lines of the province.
