On June 1, the Military Command (CHQS) of Dak Lak province organized a launching ceremony to support the construction of Ia Lop and Ia Rve inter-level boarding schools.
These are two of the five multi-level boarding schools being built in the province to serve the learning needs of students in ethnic minority areas and border areas.
Implementing the policy of the Politburo, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on developing education in ethnic minority areas and border areas. At the same time, promoting the core and pioneering role of the armed forces in participating in building political bases and developing local socio-economy, the Provincial Military Command has mobilized nearly 100 officers and soldiers to participate in supporting the construction of projects.
The mobilized forces will coordinate with construction units to accelerate progress and improve the quality of construction of inter-level boarding schools on the mainland border of the province.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the proactive and responsible spirit of the Provincial Military Command and the active coordination of departments, branches, localities and people in the process of implementing inter-level boarding school projects.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant agencies and units to continue to proactively coordinate and promptly remove arising difficulties and obstacles; ensure sufficient supplies, vehicles as well as living and working conditions for supporting forces to successfully complete assigned tasks.
Mr. Nguyen Thien Van expressed his belief that with high political determination, the synchronous involvement of the entire political system and the sense of responsibility of officials, soldiers and people, the Ia Lop and Ia Rve inter-level boarding schools will soon be completed, contributing to improving the quality of education, caring for the lives of people in border areas, creating a foundation for the sustainable development of the locality in the coming time.
According to the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command, the Ia Rve Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School Project is being built in hamlet 11, Ia Rve commune, on an area of 5.1 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 126.8 billion VND from the central budget. To date, the project has completed more than 40% of the construction volume.
Meanwhile, the Ia Lop Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School Project is being built in Doan village, Ia Lop commune, on an area of about 5.1 hectares, with a total investment of more than 105 billion VND from the central budget. Currently, the project has reached over 43% of the construction volume.
