On August 13, the Border Guard Command of Ho Chi Minh City said that officers and soldiers of Can Thanh Border Guard Station participated in supporting families of people in difficult circumstances in Can Gio commune to build Great Solidarity houses.
Previously, on the morning of August 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of Can Gio commune (HCMC) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a Great Solidarity house for the household of Ms. Le Thi Nho (resident of Phong Thanh hamlet). This project is worth 100 million VND, sponsored by Tan Thuan Industrial Development Co., Ltd.
Immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, soldiers of Can Thanh Border Guard Station actively participated in supporting the family to dismantle the old house, transport materials and prepare ground to deploy the construction of a new project.
According to Can Thanh Border Guard Station, actively participating in contributing with local Party committees and authorities to care for people's lives, especially families still facing housing difficulties, is a practical activity, showing the qualities and responsibilities of the soldier "Uncle Ho's Soldiers".
Through support, it will help Ms. Le Thi Nho's family soon have a spacious Great Solidarity house to stabilize their lives. Thereby continuing to consolidate military-civilian solidarity, highlighting the image of soldiers who are always close to the people, close to the people, and serve the people; contributing to building an increasingly solid all-people border defense posture.
