On August 2nd, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Long Dien commune (HCMC) said that it had just started the repair of Great Solidarity houses for 2 households in particularly difficult housing circumstances in the area.
In which, on August 1, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Dien commune awarded support of 80 million VND to the family of Ms. H.T. B. T (resident of Tam An hamlet) in particularly difficult circumstances to repair the Great Solidarity house. Ms. T is now old, living with her child in a level 4 house with an area of about 60m2 but has seriously deteriorated. Currently, many items of the house are heavily damaged: cracked walls, rotten wooden door systems, leaking corrugated iron roofs when it rains... posing a high risk of unsafety, especially in the upcoming rainy and storm season.
The lives of the two mothers and daughters mainly depend on unstable income from their daughter's construction work, which is only enough to cover daily living expenses, and they do not have the ability to renovate and repair themselves. Faced with that situation, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Dien commune proposed and was considered and approved for support by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
Previously, on July 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Dien commune also supported 80 million VND to repair the Great Solidarity house for the family of Ms. P.T. L (resident of An Nhut hamlet) to create conditions to stabilize life.

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Dien commune, in 2026, the locality started repairing 5 Great Solidarity houses for households in difficult circumstances in the area. In the near future, the locality is expected to implement support for 2 households in difficult circumstances to repair Great Solidarity houses to stabilize their accommodation. The activity is implemented from the support source of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City combined with the mobilized source of organizations, individuals and philanthropists.
Thereby contributing to improving living conditions and creating motivation for families to overcome difficulties and strive to rise up in life. At the same time, it shows the community's joint efforts in taking care of social security, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity, mutual affection and building an increasingly solid great national unity bloc.
