At the pagoda sites, Colonel Le Hoang Viet - Deputy Political Commissar of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard sent his condolences and wishes to the monks, prestigious people, and all Khmer people to celebrate the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay Festival in 2025 happily, peacefully, and happily.
At the same time, Colonel Le Hoang Viet also informed about the situation and some outstanding results of the unit in recent times, thereby recognizing and praising the contributions of dignitaries and prestigious people in mobilizing Buddhists and people to actively participate with the Border Guard force in managing and protecting border security and sovereignty.
At the meeting, Colonel Le Hoang Viet hoped that in the coming time, the management board of pagodas and prestigious people would continue to closely coordinate with local Party committees, authorities and Border Guard forces to propagate and mobilize people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local regulations;
Continue to promote good traditions, the spirit of solidarity, close attachment to the army and people, strive to join the locality in participating in socio-economic development, firmly protecting border sovereignty and security.
On this occasion, Tinh Bien International Border Guard Station and Nhon Hung Border Guard Station also sent gifts to pagodas and prestigious people among the Khmer ethnic group where the unit is in charge.
