Muoi Noi fair introduces highland agricultural products on National Day September 2nd

Muoi Noi market gathers products from 16 villages, combining trade, cuisine and cultural experiences, contributing to expanding the local agricultural market.

From August 29 - 30, in the Muoi Noi intersection area, Muoi Noi commune (Son La) held the opening ceremony of the "Muoi Noi Commune Market" with the theme "A place of convergence of cultural identity, local agricultural products and highland cuisine", to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026).

The fair has booths representing 16 villages in the area, introducing many products such as vegetables, tubers, fruits, bamboo shoots, bananas, honey, poultry, eggs, dried meat, smoked meat, chẳm chéo, handicrafts, brocade, OCOP products and products with traceability codes. Coffee, medicinal herbs, plant varieties, livestock, and seafood are also displayed and introduced.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dang Ngoc Hau, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, proposed that Muoi Noi commune build a market fair with its own identity, prioritizing typical products, ensuring quality, clean agricultural products and OCOP.

Mr. Dang Ngoc Hau also reminded the locality to focus on building brands, labels, listing prices, product origin indications; promote digital transformation in advertising, consumption and linking market fairs with experiential tourism. The organization needs to be in order, with actual effectiveness assessment.

According to Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Muoi Noi commune, the fair aims to create a trade space, help people display, promote and consume products; increase linkages between production and consumption according to the value chain, expand markets and contribute to creating jobs and increasing income.

Besides commercial activities, the fair also has cultural exchange programs, enjoying Northwest cuisine such as pinh top fish, grilled chicken, bamboo rice, canh bon, thang co.

Experiential and check-in spaces such as "Fatherland in the Heart", "Ancient Village of Bo Nguong", "Bo Nguong Rice Road", "Ancient Cactus", connected to A Chau Farm and local coffee, attract people and tourists.

Through this, Muoi Noi commune aims to maintain a trade space associated with preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Thai ethnic group and ethnic groups in the area, gradually forming community tourism products and expanding output for local agricultural products.
